Never. Everyone is sick of banner ads and pop-up ads, so we do not allow them on the service. And selling or disclosing your customer information is unconscionable to us and something that will never happen. |

How do people sign up?

The sign-up utility is an easy to use, automated 3 step process which allows customers to choose a username@yourdomain, create a password, and pay via a credit card. This utility is completely customizable, just like everything else, so that your users always see your branding. |

How do our users access their email?

Any way they want. We offer both "POP" and "Webmail", and your users get both automatically. This means they can use POP programs such as Outlook, Netscape Communicator, etc to download and manage their mail. And they can use Internet Explorer or Netscape to access their mail via a web interface. Most people seem to use POP when they're at home or work, and WebMail when they are at school, traveling, or anywhere else. By offering both we ensure that your users will always be able to get and send their mail anywhere in the world. And, of course, WebMail is customizable so the user-interface promotes your brand. |

Do we have to host our website with you?

Not even an option, as we do not host websites. We will walk you through the process of changing the MX (mail exchange) record on your DNS (domain name server). This does not affect your url, or website address, in any way... it just enable us to handle your email, while someone else hosts your website. |

How customizable are the user interfaces?

Completely. We want you to promote you, not us. We make our money by providing you with a great service you can sell to your fans, so we don't care if anyone ever hears our name or not. To keep the focus on you, our systems let you customize the branding of the user interfaces of the sign-up process and the WebMail screens. |

What about anti-spam technology?

The best in the industry. We use a combination of commercial tools such as Spam Assassin, as well as proprietary creations to eliminate as much spam as possible. |

What's involved in setting everything up? How long does it take?

We can have you set up in 48 hours. The longest part of the process is usually your graphics people designing the user interfaces for WebMail and sign-up, but once that's done we will have it working within hours. |

How does this compare to our other revenue sources?

FanMail is complimentary and incremental to your other revenue sources.
Your fans want to form an association with you, and will gladly pay for an email address@you.com
How many? How much? It depends upon the loyalty of your fans and how many sign up. And remember... this is recurring annuity revenue, so you get paid year after year for as long as your fans keep using the email. |

How much will we earn? When?

You will earn up to 50% of the net subscription revenue. Your share covers your promotion and profit, our share covers customer service, bandwidth, software, servers, programmers, and all other business expenses related to providing the service. You'll start generating revenue as soon as you launch the service and begin promoting it on your website(s). |

How are payments handled?

Our systems interoperate with your merchant services platform so you control the cash. You pay us on the fifth of each month. |

What fees do customers pay for the accounts?

Standard charges are $22 annually for a 1GB account. Of course, if you want to crete a different fee structure, we are happy to work with you on that. |

Do we get free internal email accounts? What about comp accounts?

Yes, and yes. As long as you have launched the service and are actively promoting it we will give you up to 25 internal and comp accounts at no charge. |

Is there a reporting interface we can use to check accounts?

Absolutely. You will be able to watch your accounts on a daily basis, as well as use some basic tools to manage your internal accounts and send emails to your member base. |
